Where Will You Be When Companies Are Ready to Hire?

The SETC Spring Professional Auditions will go on as scheduled, but will happen 100% virtually. SETC has had to shift gears a bit to accommodate this new format, but we are committed to providing the same service and opportunity.

The benefits for both auditionees and professional companies are the “one-stop shop” of being seen by several companies at one time and SETC’s assistance in seamlessly scheduling/executing virtual callbacks. Video auditions also have a “shelf life”. Companies will have the auditions to view and share with their counterparts for months to come.

Some of the deadlines and communication dates have changed to take advantage of the flexibility of the virtual platform and provide more accessibility for all.

Candidates

Hiring companies participating in Professional Auditions have already been given access to your materials. To view the hiring companies, please select “Professional Hiring Companies” from the virtual convention platform menu, and use the right sidebar to select “Auditioning Only” or “Both Auditions & Theatre Job Fair”.

Callbacks:
If a hiring company wishes to call you back, they will notify SETC and we will send you an email informing you of the callback. You will be instructed to go to the company’s scheduling link and select a day/time for your callback from those listed in the company’s gallery. You then will receive a second email with more information and a Zoom link that you will use for your callback.

Please note: Professional Auditions are happening separately from other convention events, as described above. You will not find callback or audition information on the virtual convention platform.

Hiring Companies

If you registered before Feb. 15, you have already been provided with access to auditionee materials. If you have not registered, the deadline is March 1. Once you complete and pay for registration, you will be sent a link to the auditionee materials. You can search, filter, and sort these gallery pages – and “star” auditionees that are most interesting to you

Callbacks:
You need to provide a link that provides auditionees with the ability to schedule a virtual callback during the week of the convention (we recommend outlook, calendly, appointlet, or acquity scheduling) and a video conferencing platform (we recommend zoom or gotomeeting) where the callbacks can occur. You set the times and dates that work for you.
If you have not already provided this link when registering, you will need to contact SETC with your link to insert that onto your page for you.
Notify SETC of the auditionees you wish to call back. We will then send an email to the auditionees you have selected, with instructions to visit your company’s gallery page and utilize your scheduling link to schedule their callback.
