At Tabor College Theatre, we believe in fostering a community of artist-scholars who are passionate about using their vocational calling to make compassionate and informed differences in the world. Theatre students receive extensive mentorship from faculty who are nationally-recognized professionals in their fields. The production process is integrated with classroom work, emphasizing hands-on learning built on solid theoretical understanding and contextual knowledge. Theatre majors, minors, and scholarship holders are encouraged over the course of their study to discover their calling by diving into a broad range of performance areas, whether on stage or behind the scenes, and, then, deepen their specific interest through tailored, student-led projects, production experiences, and individualized study. Our small faculty-to-student ratio allows students to have the kind of individual attention, time, and hands-on experience often reserved for students in graduate programs. At Tabor Theatre, you are simply not another face in the crowd. You belong.
