Located on the Palatka campus of St. Johns River State College, Florida School of the Arts is a state-supported, two-year professional art school offering A.S. degrees (or the A.S. + A.A. option) in the Visual and Performing Arts. Our performing arts programs include Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance, Costume Design, Scenic & Lighting Design, and Stage Management. Our visual arts specializations include Animation, New Media Design, Photography, and Studio Art. SJR State is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and is also an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. “FloArts” was, from its inception in 1976, designed to be an intimate setting where students receive close individual attention. Our dedicated and professional faculty will focus on your needs, build upon your strengths, and help you grow beyond your present limitations. Admission is by Audition or Portfolio Review Only.
